Passbolt pro is distributed under AGPL V3. It means that you have access to the entire source code. You can modify it and even share it with your friends.
When your subscription expires, you will still be able to use Passbolt Pro with your team. However, you will not have access to the next releases / updates and you will not have support from our team anymore.
We provide official installation scripts for Debian, Ubuntu, Redhat, Centos, OpenSuse and many others. Other than that, you can run the Passbolt Pro official docker container, or Virtual Machine on the operating system of your choice (as long as it is supported by docker or virtual box). You can also install it from scratch from the source code. (See our documentation).

The subscription key is a static file that is sent to you by email after your purchase. Without this subscription key Passbolt Pro will not run. The subscription key controls that you don't exceed your quota of users and is valid as long as your subscription is.
User means each individual / entity having an active user account on your instance of Passbolt Pro.
Yes you can add more users. You need to contact us as sales [at] passbolt [dot] com. We will charge you for the extra number of users and send you a new corresponding subscription key.
